Robin Ann Wren was born in northeast Louisiana, where she spent lots of time wandering through the woods, reading books, and painting.

From 2008-2012 she attended the Ringling College of Art and Design for Illustration and moved to Sarasota, Florida. Inspired by the technicolor sunsets of southern Florida as well as its unique wildlife, her work places an emphasis on color and often features expressive stylized animals.
