A Virginia native, Mythica Von Griffyn made the trek out west nearly two decades ago. She now calls Denver, Colorado, her home. A self-taught artist, Mythica first dabbled in paints and multi-media projects. It wasn't until eight years ago that her talents segued into chalk art. Her award-winning talents have been recognized and lauded as a five-time winner of the Denver Chalk Art Festival's 'Best Use of Color' award. More recently, Mythica has added body painting to her expanding repertoire. Her current project, Mythica's 2014 Military Morale Calendar, is a non-profit venture that features her body paint art meant to salute and honor America's military service people.
