Traditional Pavement Artist

Mino Di Summa was born in Francavilla Fontana on 15Th July 1986 and since he was a child he showed an interest for art. He graduated in 2005 at the ‘Vincenzo Calò’ Art Institute in Grottaglie, in ceramic section, where he was in close contact with the workshop of ceramic and leccese papier-mâché. In 2012 he graduated in Architecture at ‘Sapienza’ University of Rome, here he exhibited successfully at the Gallery "Il Canovaccio" and he perfected his education working with many important painters of the Italian capital. 

He starts practicing pavement art, while he continues to establish itself as artist at national and international level, representing Puglia in Italy and worldwide. In fact, he is winner of many pavement art international competitions, in which he has awarded the first prize, including: three editions of the international contest of Madonnari in Nocera Superiore (SA), two editions of the national meeting of Madonnari in Grazie di Curtatone (MN) and 11st Festival Bella Via in Monterrey, Mexico . Today he lives and works in the beloved Salento, as architect, painter, restorer and pavement artist.
