Formerly a native of Thailand, Kumpa Tawornprom has a degree in Architectural Design from the Royal Thai Academy. He is also a Master Sculptor and Painter with many years of experience. Kumpa’s traditional approach to his work lends itself to a timeless sense of beauty to any project he is committed too. In 2011 Kumpa designed and created the two mermaid tails that participated next to Melanie Stimmel’s 3D painting and in 2012 carved two large elephants for the entrances to the festival celebrating the Circus theme. This year, he will be creating a 1:10 scaled version of the statue of liberty.
