Gennaro Troia, is an artist from the Italian old school , with no technical , fine art academy , and no study , during the 80's he began working on the roads of the typical religious fests in southern Italy , retracing the ancient routes of the first madonnari . Gennaro Troa in a spirit of rebellion against the system art and business , founded in 2009 , the association " SCUOLA NAPOLETANA DEI MADONNARI" which aims to protect the old tradition and the artists who practice the life of MADONNARO throughout the year and throughout life .
