OSPREY, FL - On Sunday, October 12, 2014, Hoosier Bar, 748 S Tamiami Trail, will host the Chalk-N-Roll Poker Run to benefit the 2014 Sarasota Chalk Festival in Venice, Fl. Chaired by Alison Belsan and Dorian Mattox, this inaugural event will raise funds to sponsor artists participating in the festival and the World Record attempt.

Open to cars and motorcycles, The Chalk-N-Roll Poker Run will feature a fun filled ride along a 53 mile course through Osprey, Englewood and Venice. "Competition is not necessary but hopefully drivers will have a pretty good hand. If not, at least they'll have a great time supporting the 2014 Chalk Festival." says Dorian Mattox, event co-chair.

The success of the 2014 Sarasota Chalk Festival in Venice depends on community events that raise the necessary funding to cover the cost of travel, lodging, art supplies and food for the world renowned artists that are donating their time and talents. "Money has to be raised to cover traffic control, security and insurance as well." says Denise Kowal, festival founder. "The support of organizers, participants and sponsors from events like the Chalk-N-Roll Poker Run, make it possible for us to produce the only international pavement art festival in the United States."

The Chalk-N-Roll Poker Run will begin with registration at Hoosier Bar, in Osprey, at noon. Stops include Sharky's on the Pier, Calico Jacks, Tarzan's Jungle Bar and Grill, and the Outlook Pub. Each stop will feature activities and $2.00 Budweiser and Bud Light specials.

The day continues back at Hoosiers Bar at 4:30 p.m. with a PRE-BIKETOBER Fest Party featuring Archie's delicious BBQ, body painting, prizes, raffles, and music by Forbidden Fruit Farmers. Prizes include $500 for best hand, $300 for 2nd and $100 for 3rd.

Reserve your space today! $25 per hand, $10 additional passengers, or $50 for 5 hands and a passenger.
