Why do you street paint?
I chalk to educate the public and bring art to them. When people become more aware of the process and see the work that goes into creating art then a greater appreciation is developed. I also feel complete when I am creating.

Why is the Sarasota Chalk Festival important to you?
It is a wonderful festival where I get to work alongside so many talented people from all over the world. I love to learn and grow as an artist and Sarasota provides a space to do just that.

Can you tell us about the artwork you will create this year, is therea story behind it? Are there any personal or particular why you chose this image?
I will recreate a portrait of a woman with adesign around her. I often draw portraits with imagery around them with a deeper meaning.
