Traditional Pavement Artist

A professional artist working in visual effects and animated films for over 25 years, Henry Darnell has created miniatures, puppets and props for film, television, theme parks and live performance.

Darnell's film credits include; Beetlejuice, Throw Momma from the Train, Scrooged, The Rocketeer, The Abyss, True Lies, Honey I Blew Up the Kid, Starship Troopers, Stuart Little, Stuart Little II, The Haunted Mansion, Castaway, What Lies Beneath, The Attack of the Chubb Chubbs, Open Season, Beowulf, The Polar Express, Big Fish, G-Force and The Watchmen.

He recently completed work on The Book of Life, in theaters October 2014 and he is currently working as a freelance artist in Dallas Texas.

Henry believes that art is a life long pursuit. “I want to create art every day. Artist must study other artist. Street painting is a great chance to study a master work. I consider the artist's technique and how they conceptualized their subject as I'm working to replicate it. Street painting also offers a unique opportunity create art live for the public. It is amazing to watch an artist work through their process and see their passion take form as art.”
